Social issue campaign ideas Environment/pollution – talking about the environment and pollution could be one of the best topics to talk about since it can be on any one of several issues and could be aimed towards local, national or global impact to influence how some people think about the environment and their impact on it. There are several talking points that I could use, as well as what happens to people when they drive while drunk, or what happens to the people around them. Abuse – abuse is an issue that needs to raise awareness because it affects people all over the world every year. There are several topics to talk about, such as the many different ways that abuse can be done; verbal or physical. I could also talk about what people should do if they see abuse and how to help people who have been abused. Addiction – talking about addiction is a very important topic that can cover several different subjects, like gambling or drug addiction. Addiction is a topic that people need to be informed about because people can become addicted to anything, without knowing it. Fracking – fracking is an issue that not many people are aware of, or they are aware of what fracking is but not of the effects that it has on the environment or our neighbourhoods. Most people don’t fully understand what fracking is and campaigns about it would be a great to fully inform everyone. Wildlife – wildlife is an issue that needs to be addressed because some people don’t realise that human interference is resulting in the destruction of their natural habitat.
