DESCRIPTION

Publishers have found it fairly straightforward and beneficial to shift from delivering news in print to delivering online. But longer feature articles present more of a challenge, given the need for brevity and 'scannability' online. This presentation is based on the idea that features online do not need to be text heavy. It showcases graphical, visual and interactive presentation techniques that can be used to create "features without words".
