Other LED floodlights did not deliver the solution I wanted to achieve in relation to the footbridge lighting.

The area where people sat and mingled was well lit at 28 lux and an excellent uniformity ratio of 0.4.The area leading to the road was backlit by the 10m streetlights (CCC SON lighting.)

The proposed lighting was replacement for existing lighting and was approved by the conservation officer. The only additional light was mounted on the end of a building owned by the District Council, leased to the Parish Council and not Grade listed, so was done under permitted development.
