Mission“The Mission of the Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District is to provide recreational opportunities to the citizens of the Park District, with focus on the youth of our community. Facilities and programs will be developed and maintained to provide safe and economical recreational environments for all users.”
Guiding Principles:The Park District will develop new parks and recreation facilities to
serve a diverse range of residents within the Park District, and will implement such projects in a fiscally responsible manner.
The Park District will capitalize on new opportunities as they arise even if not specifically identified in the Master Plan.
