Shotgun Mic

Polariod microphone powered by a single 3v battery. Usable with all cameras and microphones with a 3.5 mm jack input. It is most sensitive to the target sounds in front of the microphone and very much less and eliminating any background sounds. Additionally , the microphone incorporates a combination on-off & angle selection switch (90 degree for a group of less than three & 120 degree for a larger group).

Final cut pro X

Final cut pro X is the latest instalment of the Final Cut editing software series that runs primarily on apple Mac devices. The software is used by a wide range of professional media organisations and is the go-to editing soft ware. It contains all the regular functions that most editing software provide as well as some unique more interesting ones , for example: Magnetic Timeline: Edits footage in a storyline without knocking any other clips or audio out of place at other points of the Timeline. Clips now automatically slide in place of gaps. Clips are also now connected to each other; when one clip is moved, the other clips move in sync with it.

Compound Clips: A feature to FCP X that allows multiple video and audio clips to be combined into one for simplicity.

Props

Props used will be all the musical equipment for the Dj’ing shots. Keyboard, laptop, headphones, synth pad, will all be used as it is the artists setup that he uses at home
