Warburton’s Advert Analysis

The style of the advert is a Humorous style with a slight factual style as well. The reason I say there was two styles is because of the child in the advert speaks with a humorous jokey tone, but is also giving facts about the new bread. This is the overall meaning of the advert, the child is saying that the bread is nice but he thinks it’s strange as its half and half. This will appeal to a younger audience as they will hear that it is coming from a child.

The tone of the voice was funny however slightly serious. The way the way the young boy was talking was if he was telling warburtons what to put in there bread. The reason that it is funny is that it is coming from a young boy. This king of thing wouldn’t be said be a small boy this creating humour for all ages.

In the advert there are no contact details given. I think that this is bad as people may want to ring I and complain or mak suggestions. However I understand why they didn’t, kind of because of the same reason if people constantly rang in there would be loads of complaints. This would be more hasel for the company that they don’t need.

There was a slogan in the advert at the very end. I think this is good as it is the last thing that people want to hear. However the slogan was used by a different voice it was said by an older man who seems he was replying to the young boys phone call. However the man said the slogan very fast and it could be very ard to hear depending on when you heard the advert.

There was no background music making the advrt slightly boring and dull. If it was me I would have added some music either at te end of quietly throughout. On the other hand the advert was suppose to be a phone call so it would have been less realistic, and I think that is what makes the advert good.

Overall I like the advert and think that it was well made and enjoyable. It has made me think about my overall advert and I might want to consider using a child to bring across my point. Reason being that people don’t really listen to kids but when they seem to tak note of what they said make the advrt more successful and fu for people to hear.
