Getting Started
Getting StartedYou can create a Google Analytics account in 4 easy steps!
1. Go to admin. Click on ‘Create new account’ 2. Fill in website details; Set reporting time zone.
3. Accept Google Analytics terms of service 4. Copy tracking code, send to your webmaster. Start tracking!
The ‘Home’ tab shows you how many websites/analytics accounts are linked to your email. It also show you the website results at a glance.

Important Metrics to Measure
Sessions: The period time a user is actively engaged with your website, app, etc.
Users: People who had at least one session within the selected date range.
Pageviews: Total number of pages viewed.
Pages/Session: Average number of pages per visitor
Avg Session Duration: The average length of a session
Bounce Rate: Percentage of one-page visitors
% New Session: An estimate of the percentage of first time visits.
