Current Situation
300,000 cases of abortion at the age from 15 -19 years old each year
60-70% are pupils and students.
In Hanoi, the percentage of young people account for about 30% of the population while the abortion rate over 22%.
Vietnam became the country which has highest abortion rate in adolescence in Southeast Asia & ranked 5th in the world.
