Software InDesign was used to actually created my magazine, I used

this because I was able to control the layout and structure of the magazine from the front cover to the contents page to the article pages. Editing for this software was not too difficult when you got the hang of things. Another reason to why I used this software is because it had a professional outcome which I what I wanted and this could not have been achieved on any other form of software

Before media studies I was not at all familiar with photo shop Photoshop was used to edit some of the images, I used this edit out some of my models spots and some of her flaws, I also filed in her eye brows to make them darker and more sharp. My models hair was parted to one side and so looked messy so I had to edit out some strands of hair to keep it looking in place, as this is what I have found with similar magazines, the artists do not have any imperfections Strands of

Camera

The background to the photo shoot was a big white screen and a few flash lights to capture the images in certain lighting, this made the images look as professional as possible. I tried to spice things up u changing the setting when using this camera so I took a few shots in my room with fancy wallpaper

The camera that was used was a canon camera because it has a professional quality to I rather then a camera from a phone. The quality of the camera was really good, the image focused only on the artists which is what Is what I found in most magazines similar to my genre and magazines in general. I used this professional camera to my advantage and took as many various shots such as a mid shot or a close up, the outcome of the images were very realistic.

Other forms of software

PowerPoint- this surprisingly also helped me to create the magazine that I have, I have used many different techniques with editing the pictures. I used this particular software to remove the background form my masthead which proved very helpful
