1 – DEFINE YOUR PROJECT
Make yourself standout !
a) Select the job that fits you the best ;
b) Be creative ;c) Where, and with whom would
you like to work ?d) Adapt your resumes (CV) to
your target ;e) Set up your personal
schedule for the next 20 weeks.2
2 – IMPROVE YOURSELF
Be attractive !
a) Don’t hesitate to work on your personal presentation (keep fit and look after your appearance, always dress appropriately) ;
b) Improve your professional experience (foreign languages, terminology and skills) ;
c) Be enthusiastic about your subject (read specific literature, always be ready for a possible discussion with a manager).

3 – WORK ON YOUR E-IDENTITY
It takes about 4 months to establish your Web identity !
a) If possible, erase all that isnegative in your profile on the
Net ;b) Create your own Web Identity ;c) Participate in forums related
to your specific field of competence ;
d) Be present and active on professional
networks such as LinkedIn, GOOGLE +, etc.

4 – PREPARE YOUR TOOLS
Be professional in all circumstances !
a) Organize your network of references ;
b) Create your personal blog including links to representative sites ;
c) Even if you are temporally unemployed, stay involved (in associations, societies)… and show it ;
d) Stay in (good) contact with your school, university, ex-colleagues, ex-employers,…

5 – ADAPT YOUR PROSPECTION
Sell yourself as a product(fit for purpose) !
a) Create your operational lists (with names,
functions, telephone extensions, e-mails) ;
b) Send a promotional mailshot (or e-mail)
in order to incite your target to contact you ;
c) Don’t go into too much detail at the moment.

5 – ADAPT YOUR PROSPECTION
d) Your telephone conversation must only
focus on the organization of an appointment ;
e) Don’t use this first meeting to negotiate :
create a need ;f) Be reactive, share your ideas ;g) Never forget to prepare the
next step (date, questions to be studied).

6 – CONCLUDING AN AGREEMENT
The best deal is always the one that suits both parties !
a) Before any negotiation, fix your red line and be ready (prepare your answers to questions and objections) ;
b) Stay calm and confident, smile ;
c) Conclude and make sure that all terms of your agreement are perfectly clear.

7 – JOINING THE COMPANY
The first weeks within the company are essential to confirm
your position !
a) Be professional in your relationship with
your management, customers, colleagues, but also with all employees ;
b) Respect the image that you have given of yourself… and of your professional abilities ;
c) Stay in contact with your management to facilitate your evaluation.
