Railway Jobs 2013- India Railways has been considered Lifeline of the Nation. Railway in India has a

history of about 150 years and is the largest rail network in whole of Asia. Thousands of Jobs are on

offer every year from India Railways and it has also made Railway in India one of the largest

commercial employers all across the world. India Railways is also one of the few largest systems that

are under a single management system.

Indian Railway Recruitment for Freshers 2013- The Recruitment in Indian Railways is done by

various Railway Recruitment Boards which are 28 in number and are present all over India to carry

out the recruitment process for Indian Railways in cities like Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad,

Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Kolkata etc. For selection of candidates, the conducting

organisations issues an application form which is available both online and offline by paying a certain

amount of fee. After that, the candidate has to appear for a written examination.

The future of India Railways is looking quite bright for upcoming years and so is the no. of vacancies

in Indian railways. The Indian Railways is broadly divided in different Zones that have technical and

non-technical departments which operate for all 365 days of the year to provide valuable service to

Nation and hence the jobs in Indian Railways are classified as- Technical and Non - technical.

The working conditions in various job profiles depends form one job to another but most of the

railway jobs in Indian railways have night shifts and Saturday / Sunday working etc.. Only Jobs which

are related with administrative work of Indian Railways finds an exception in this regard.
