The Nurse-Family Partnership® Program:
• Has scientifically demonstrated multi-generational outcomes;
• Has demonstrated that registered nursesare key to successful outcomes in home visiting interventions;
• Offers nurses a high level of autonomy, flexibility, and personal satisfaction; and
• Is relationship-based, building on a client’s skills, confidence and hope, and values the client’s ability to determine her own future.

Registered nurses have the professional and educational background that ideally prepares them to conduct the strengths-focused client assessments and deliver the individualized interventions within the Nurse-Family Partnership program.
Nurse-Family Partnership Nurse Home Visitors and Nurse Supervisors receive education that is specific to the Nurse-Family Partnership evidence-based program model.
Once trained, nurses work with their clients to accomplish three goals:
• Improve pregnancy outcomes• Improve child health and development • Improve the economic self-sufficiency of the family
