DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Identifies procedural problems in program operations, using quantitative or

qualitative methods. Conducts studies on operating programs.  Analyzes findings.

 Makes recommendations in reports. Studies proposed legislation and/or

regulations for impact on programs.  Researches current or new management

practices for application to programs or operations.

Serves as a liaison to Federal Student Aid's policy organization to provide

recommendations for policy development and communicating policy decisions back to

Program Compliance.

DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:•write interpretive content as the park editor•interprets the features of Acadia National Park through formal and informal contacts with the visiting public, researching, writing, & preparing interpretive publications, website content•requires excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, editing, layout); facility with a wide range of computer programs, and ability to meet deadlines•specialized experience may include writing and editing materials such as reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, brochures, interpretive handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference works, speeches, or scripts• development, analysis, and selection of appropriate information and presentation of the information in a form and at a level suitable to audience
