As Holme Court is specialised towards children with special needs it meant I got to socialise with some interesting characters and helps make do with understanding others a lot better on an emotional level. I stayed at Holme Court for 5 years and then moved to CIS from doing the times table in Maths at Year 7 (which at the time was well behind everyone else) and worked hard to get a set of GCSEs that I am proud of. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Achieved good GCSEs from being severely disadvantaged from a young age Competed in the Indoor Skydiving Championship on an amateur level in 2011 and won first place Improved social skills after being severely disadvantaged due to Autism & Asperger’s Syndrome Jumped out of a plane as a tandem at the age of 13 Completed a personal marathon that raised over £500 for charity. EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE I’ve only had work experience as part of GCSE’s at Bodyflight in Bedford doing a variety of jobs such kitchen work, hotel cleaning and reception work. EDUCATION & TRAINING A in Maths GCSE B in Media Studies GCSE B in Global Perspectives GCSE A in ICT GCSE B in Co-ordinated Sciences GCSE C in Spanish GCSE C in English Literature GCSE CORE SKILLS - Emotionally understanding of others - Motivated in the gaming industry - Friendly if a bit shy - Experience in most Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) INTERESTS I am a big online game player and I love the whole subject of skydiving. I enjoy relaxing and having fun, also being driven by the urge of competitive play. I plan to become eventually a professional gamer.
