For one of our FMCG multinational clients located in Bucharest we are looking for a BRAND MANAGER Our client is a global company holding top positions in cosmetics and its mission, for more than a century, is devoting the energy and the competencies solely to one business: beauty ROLE: The BRAND MANAGER is responsible for driving topline mindset and engagement for the leading brand of the country’s portfolio and deliver consistently iconic activations which really challenge thinking to deliver breakthrough results.. The Brand Manager, reporting to Marketing Manager, has an individual contributor role with one Junior Brand Manager as direct report. REQUIREMENTS: Since the complexity of the role is high and its impact in business is significant, we look for a senior branding professional with experience in a complex business environment and a focus on FMCG, someone with experience in shaping the relevance of a brand, confident in building and implementing brand activation plans and managing agency relationship to deliver on time, on brand and within budget. In order to reach the role’s goal the professional should have the following functional competencies: marketing and brand concepts, media strategy and execution; business acumen (finance, sales, business strategy, planning and performance management etc.); passionately listens to & understands stakeholders; integrated activation strategy development, in-store marketing for shoppers & trade. We look for someone who is a strong doer, acting with speed, switching from big picture to exceptional eye for details, while having the ability to drive multifunctional and multicultural remote teams (sales, regional brand, creative agencies, shopper, digital, PR). Because there are simultaneously multiple change dimensions we need someone resilient with change, capable of fast reactions and able to operate effectively in the context of a high pace working environment. Since the company is a multinational player fluency in English and Romanian at a native speaker level are mandatory.
