What have you learnt about technologies from the process of

constructing this product?

Throughout the whole process of my coursework, many technologies were used, some familiar and some unfamiliar.

Finding turorials on how to use blogger made the rest of my production easier as I knew exactly

where and how to find good tutorials in the future.

To present our whole project, a blogger account was needed. Blogger is something I had never used before, therefore I had to use numerous tutorials to work out how to make one and present it in an appealing way.

Research And planningIn order to produce a professional looking magazine, I needed to look at existing ones first.

Using the internet I found many sites directing me to existing magazines which had the type of presentation that I wanted to achieve.

This helped me to produce my final magazine as I had some inspiration to base mine off.

To produce my research and planning I used Slideshare and had to therefore find tutorials on how to embed a slideshare into blogger.

To communicate with my focus group, I created a facebook group where I could ask questions and get opinions on mock ups etc. I had no previous experience in this however it was a very easy process which needed no tutorials.

ProductionBesides my preliminary task, I had no experience with Photoshop when coming to do my production. This meant my mock ups were very useful in helping me get accustomed to the program. I searched for many tutorials while doing my mock ups, and picked it all up quite quickly. Therefore when coming to my final production, hardly any extra help (tutorials, asking other people) was needed as I had already learnt most of what I needed.

I used my own Canon EOS 600D to take my photos so I had previous experience with it and was used to how to change the settings etc so that was no problem.

However I had no experience with professional lighting or using a tripod (because I just used very basic photos in my preliminary) so that required some practice.
