He helps in solving some of our economic problems, like pollution, by ushering in and adhering to the requirements set-up by the goverment on the means of disposing their waste products which if not properly followed will contribute to the pollution problem that is hazardous to the health and welfare of the people living in the community.

National income, by the way is defind as the sum total of all payments to resource owners for the use of their resources in the productive process such that national income is generated by the employment of resources in the production of goods and services.

He helps the government derive more revenues by means of indirect taxes collected out of the sale of the commodity because the higher the sales volume of a particular product is, the higher the direct taxes will be.
