Where’s everybody from?
Can you hear me okay? Click the little guy in the lower left corner and give me a green check mark if your audio is ok, or red x if your audio is not okay.
I want to applaud you for attending today’s CPE Link online seminar …
You may not realize this but by participating you’re doing at least four really smart things ...
1. Saving money: by working from your computer, you’re saving hundreds of dollars in travel costs.
2. Saving time: you’re instantly connected online and not wasting potentially dozens of hours in airport line-ups, traffic jams or travel delays.
3. Reducing stress: by avoiding travel, your learning experience is more comfortable and relaxed.
4. Helping the environment: by staying at your office or home, you’ve saved on fuel consumption and reduced your carbon footprint.

UPFRONT DISCLAIMER
I do not work for Twitter, nor isthis presentation endorsed, sponsored
or in any way supported byTwitter or any other organization.
This presentation is certified, bona fide, deep-fried 100% vendor-neutral.
My motto: “I don’t take sides. I take notes.”
What I am is an impartial, objective, independent Certified Management Consultant ...
... my mission: explore how Twitter can be used to improve efficiency, workflow and profitability for accountants.
Caution: Twitter and the web is highly dynamic and fluid. URLs may change without notice!
Delivering this type of web seminar is delicate balancing act: some of you know little, some knows lots about web and Twitter.
We also need to manage expectations: Twitter is a HUGE and EXPLODING topic and I can cover only so much in this brief session.(Can you imagine giving an introduction to accounting in two or so hours? Where would you start?)
We WON’T have time to cover everything in handout. I’ll highlight the most important points and resources, but use the handout as a reference to explore Twitter on your own.
To get most out of today’s session, I’d suggest you get out your highlighter ...
... Mark those items that interest you the most and circle back on your own time to explore them in more detail.
Please note: I don’t pretend to have all the answers. To be honest, I’m still exploring and experimenting with Twitter myself and how best to use it.
At any time, if you don’t understand something or have a question or just want to make a comment, please jump in and share your thoughts. I want to make this as interactive as possible.
Whatever your level of comfort and experience with the web and online video, thank you in advance for your flexibility and being the respectful and accommodating professionals you are.
