Communicating the
Value of Your
Business
You know how wonderful the products or services you offer
truly are.
But your customers do place a lot of emphasis on your opinion
of your own products or services.
When you communicate the value of what you sell, you are
much more likely to get a customer to spend money.
You must find ways to show them why they need what your
business offers.
First, only offer products and servicesthat you would use yourself.
• If you feel that your products or services are not good enough, then how can you stand behind them if a customer asks you?
• If you are proud of what your business offers, then you will be able to exhibit the value just in the way you react when customers ask question.
Second, make sure you and anycustomer service associates that youemploy fully understand everyproduct and service you offer.
• This way, when customers askquestions, you will be able to answerthem.
Communicating value is extremely important when you
own a small business.
It is an excellent way to retain current customers and draw in
new ones.
