LinkedIn launched a contest on the 26th of October within our annual Town hall meeting. Four prizes were put at stake and the winners were elected in December based on 4 main criteria: Most ConnectedMost EndorsedMost Popular Earliest Adopter

We have three winners in the company that earned these titles, as you can see below. We managed to have a short interview with each one of them, in order to introduce them to you as well.

Anca Teodora Gheorghe- Recruitment Manager Q: You got 2 prizes: Most Endorsed and Most Connected. How did you manage to create this community and how do you feel about the prize?A: The community was created due to the specifics of my job – I have worked in recruitment for more than 4 years. The prize came in as a really pleasant surprise and a quite handy one too.

Nagy Szabolcs- Recruiter for Magyar Telekom Q: You got the prize for the most popular person on LinkedIn. How c so many connections and how do you think that these connections will help you in your professional life?A: Being organized and well-structured has always been a part of my life in every aspect. I have consciously worked on my career, the foundation of which is based on the creation mutual value. I feel motivated in an innovative economic life for which I believe social capital and connections are essential to have. I receive multiple requests which strengthen mutual satisfaction and this way it gives me a feedback on the work I do. I always plan for long term and this is why I do not consider it hard to manage my connections. In general, I want to contribute to the efficient functioning of a successful company with the help of my already acquired and further gained social capital which creates mutual satisfaction and ensures ongoing improvement. I believe the prize I received indicates the start of this path.

Mihaela Stefanescu – Project coordinator customer finance Q: You got the prize for the earliest adopter as you joined LinkedIn in 2006. How did you hear about LinkedIn and what made you create a profile?A: LinkedIn was at that moment one of the fewest ways to communicate with people in a business environment and to stay up to date to what was new on the market. Frankly I don't recall how I heard about LinkedIn, I think I just did, what I recall though is that there weren't so many people who had a profile at that time.Since than LinkedIn developed a lot but so had we… :-)
