-The history begins in 1895, when the Hacienda La Capilla was built by Don Antonio Faustino de Aceves y Casillas, better known as ‘’Amo Aceves’’ (Lord Aceves).

-In 1993, descendents of Don Antonio formally started the Company as Hacienda La Capilla S.A. de C.V.

- In 1995, because of the Quality of our products, the Company crossed borders and started exporting to other countries.

-In 2003, Tequila ‘’El Amo Reposado’’, ‘’La Capilla Silver’’ and ‘’La Capilla Reposado’’ were recognized in the annual tequila taste by The Mexican Academy of Tequila.

-Actually, because of the special Flavor and the Quality, the Company is exporting to Russia, France, Romania and United States, and soon Spain, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama and Colombia.

What is Tequila?

Tequila is a Symbolic Mexican Drink. It is an Unmistakable spirit distilled juice having an incomparable richness in aroma and flavor…it is also like water from a river that burns. It is an elixir that exudes tradition. Drinking it is being initiated to a world of legend and traditions.

History of Tequila…

The first knowledge of the blue agave plant existence was found on Mexican Prehispanic manuscripts. An ancient legend says that a Thunder storm hit a field of agave and a lighthning cooked the heart of the plants, producing a brew that Aztecs called ‘’Pulque’’. The brew was considered to be a divine gift from their Gods, became holy and was used in their ritual ceremonies.

AWARDS

This platinum-and-gold bottle fetched nearly a quarter-million dollars at auction in Mexico City last year. The spirit that fills it is a triple-distilled mix of 8-, 10- and 12-year-old agave plants and is produced by Hacienda La Capilla Distillery in Los Altos, Jalisco. Ley .925 CEO Fernando Altamirano says the liquor is aged in barrels whose provenance is top secret.

•Serving Suggestions

Ingredients:1 ½ oz tequila

½ oz blue curacao

Pineapple Juice

Maraschino Cherry for garnish

Preparation

Pour the tequila into the glass of your choice.

Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Add the pineapple juice.Stir well.

Top with blue curaçao and stir lightly again.

Garnish with a cherry.

•Serving Suggestions

Ingredients 1 oz gold Tequila

1 oz clamato juice

3-5 drops Tabasco saucedash of Worcestershire sauce

Preparation Fill one shot glass with Tequila.Fill a second shot glass with clamato juice and add the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.

Shoot the Tequila and chase it with the second shot.

Ingredients 1 1/2 oz Tequila1/2 teaspoon tabasco or other hot sauceJuice of one lime wedge1 jalapeno ringKosher salt1 lime wedge Preparation Use lime wedge to moisten 1/2 the brim of the shooter glass.

Dip the moistened brim in salt. In a small glass, mix the lime juice, Tequila and tabasco.

Place the jalapeno ring in the bottom of the shooter glass and top with Tequila mixture.
