Your Turn…

Please pair off, choosing a partner who is someone you don’t already know. You’re going to interview and introduce that person. Make sure you get the following information:

1) The person’s name2) What they go by, if they don’t go by their first name3) Their major/year4) Something interesting to help us remember them

Starting out…

One of the things that is important as you begin considering technical writing is to think about how tech writing is different from much of the writing you’ve done in your previous classes.

To that end, we’re going to do what you should do each time you start to contemplate a new topic: we’re going to define technical writing.

Go to your Tumblr

For your first post, I want you to define technical writing in your own words, then write (as much as you can in the time I give you) what you already know (or think you know) about technical communication.

There are no wrong answers, so just write.
