SUBWAY Monroeville, Indiana Help an 18 Year Old Start a Subway in a small town. Summary We have a small town of about 1300 people including a manufacturing plant "American Mitsuba Corporation" with 417 current associates. I am currently an intern at AMI and we have 3 shifts and are open 6 days a week. This means that there are three lunch breaks a day and all the associates have to drive to the gas station to get lunch because there are no quick restaurants in our town. Just recently our town got a dollar general and is one of the top volume stores in the Fort Wayne area. I will place this Subway off highway 101 that runs through Monroeville and is less than a mile from AMI. I have surveyed a random set of associates on break and 100% said they would stop on a 4-5 day a week routine. I am young but I have already started my own farm animal petting zoo that runs in the summer. I am the sole owner and do not get assistance from my parents. I negotiate contracts with insurance companies and clients, and operate the Zoo the entire length of the event. I currently have one paid employee that helps me set up my events. I plan on attending Purdue University this fall where I will study Agribusiness. When I graduate I plan on moving back to Hoagland "my home town" and starting my Subway / meat goat ranch. Our area has a huge demand for goat meat that is not being met. The ethnic stores in Fort Wayne tell me that they get one shipment of goat meat a year and it is all gone in less than a week. Goats are easy to manage and only take a few hours of the day, leaving the rest of my time for the Subway. The money that I need now is for my college education and to start my franchise location. My college education will cost about $23,000 a year at Purdue and the Franchise will cost at around $110,800. This amount breaks down into many Categories. Initial Franchise Fee: $15,000 Real Property: $24,500 Equipment Security Deposit $41,800 Security System: $1,200 Outside Signs $3,000 Opening Inventory: $3,800 Insurance: $1,600 Supplies: $1,100 Training Expenses: $3,500 Legal & Accounting: $1,000 Opening advertisement: $1,500 Business Licenses, utility deposit, small equip and surplus capital: $2,800 3 Months Funds: $6,000 This is a huge amount of money to pay and all money that I receive will go to my college education and will help me in the end start my franchise. Location This location will be in Monroeville, Indiana off Highway 101 and by less than a mile from American Mitsuba Corporation and there 417 Associates. The town of Monroeville has 1,300 potential customers. There is currently no quick service restaurant only an ice cream shop open during the summer.

Monroeville, Indiana Help an 18 Year Old Start a Subway in a small town.

Summary

We have a small town of about 1300 people including a manufacturing plant "American Mitsuba Corporation"

with 417 current associates. I am currently an intern at AMI and we have 3 shifts and are open 6 days a week.

This means that there are three lunch breaks a day and all the associates have to drive to the gas station to get

lunch because there are no quick restaurants in our town. Just recently our town got a dollar general and is one of

the top volume stores in the Fort Wayne area. I will place this Subway off highway 101 that runs through

Monroeville and is less than a mile from AMI. I have surveyed a random set of associates on break and 100%

said they would stop on a 4-5 day a week routine.

I am young but I have already started my own farm animal petting zoo that runs in the summer. I am the sole

owner and do not get assistance from my parents. I negotiate contracts with insurance companies and clients, and

operate the Zoo the entire length of the event. I currently have one paid employee that helps me set up my events.

I plan on attending Purdue University this fall where I will study Agribusiness. When I graduate I plan on moving

back to Hoagland "my home town" and starting my Subway / meat goat ranch. Our area has a huge demand for

goat meat that is not being met. The ethnic stores in Fort Wayne tell me that they get one shipment of goat meat a

year and it is all gone in less than a week. Goats are easy to manage and only take a few hours of the day, leaving

the rest of my time for the Subway.

The money that I need now is for my college education and to start my franchise location. My college education

will cost about $23,000 a year at Purdue and the Franchise will cost at around $110,800. This amount breaks

down into many Categories.

Initial Franchise Fee: $15,000

Real Property: $24,500

Equipment Security Deposit $41,800

Security System: $1,200

Outside Signs $3,000

Opening Inventory: $3,800

Insurance: $1,600

Supplies: $1,100

Training Expenses: $3,500

Legal & Accounting: $1,000

Opening advertisement: $1,500

Business Licenses, utility deposit, small equip and surplus capital: $2,800

3 Months Funds: $6,000

This is a huge amount of money to pay and all money that I receive will go to my college education and will help

me in the end start my franchise.

Location This location will be in Monroeville, Indiana off Highway 101 and by less than a mile from American Mitsuba

Corporation and there 417 Associates. The town of Monroeville has 1,300 potential customers. There is currently

no quick service restaurant only an ice cream shop open during the summer.
