LIV BACKI will be taking on the roles of:

1) Script writer- script writers write the script for films. They create the personality of characters, craft dialogue and write an engaging plot,

2) Technical director- The technical director is responsible for the technical production crew. The technical production crew operate the cameras, coordinate the lighting and find the correct music/sound. As I am in charge of the sound I will be using technical equipment to record sound, amplify voices and edit recordings. The practical and technical skills of sound technicians are absolutely essential for providing the audience with a satisfying multi-sensory experience. In our production we will be using the recording studio at our school to record the little dialogue we are having (its more like a voiceover as the person who is speaking is off screen.) To record the ambient sound we will be using a h4n (digital recording device), a boom pole and a shot gun mic. As I have the job of looking for and using appropriate sound within our production I had to find our non diegetic sound. This is a score or soundtrack. It was vital that this was copyright free. After much research we decided to use this orchestral score, as we believe that the crescendo (gradual increase in volume) connotes the increasing control the protagonists illness has over her. It Is a powerful piece of music which connotes the intense strength of the threat and the power of the voices which disturb and torture our protagonists mind.

HANNAH GRINHAMHannah will be taking on the roles of:

1) Editor- Film editors use state-of-the-art video editing software. Hannah will be using Final cut pro. Editors typically work alongside the director in an editing suite or studio. They gather together all of the recorded material (including sound files), organise it, store it digitally and then arrange it, cutting parts and restructuring scenes until a ‘rough cut’ can be put together. Once the right shots have been sequenced and the sound effects and dialogue have been overdubbed properly, an editor’s job involves putting the finishing touches to everything. This process might involve enriching/enhancing colours or adding in special effects.

2) Director- Film directors have ultimate control over the creative side of a film production. They are responsible for making a film as powerful, entertaining and effective as possible.
