Tourism is a field where bilateral relations picked up significantly in recent years. 2013 brought a staggering increase in the number of Dutch tourists visiting Hungary. Their main destinations are Budapest and lake Balaton. Music festivals (Sziget, Balaton Sound) play a main role in their destination choices.

• To support the implementation of investment promotion.
• To foster bilateral and multilateral international economic relations.
• To help the foreign enterprises in a one-stop-shop system in preparing and implementing strategic investment decisions, as well as providing support in the period after such decisions are reached.
• Increase and motivate the export of the small and medium sized companies (SMEs).
• Makes use of the reserves of SMEs while helping their expansion on foreign markets.
• Develops export capacity for these companies, while making their foreign markets more organized and effective SMEs will become self-sufficient over time.
