PR is all about communication.
Social Media grabs PR communication tactics (events, traditional media, etc.) by the horn, enabling consumers
and brands to hold a two-way conversation.
It’s an authentic, community-focused, and interactive communication to boot.

Rest assured, I don’t just tweet all day.
Successful social media and PR efforts involve everything from custom landing pages, applications, mobile
integration, contests, giveaways, editorial calendars, customer service, ad buys, response strategy, analyzing
and reporting metrics, brand monitoring, providing best practices, and whatever else comes up.
It’s been a lot of fun.

My degree is in Information Systems…
I learned computer programming, analysis, design, and implementation of informational systems. That’s basically a
fancy term for learning how businesses use technology. I also got a music minor along the way!
In my spare time I like to hike, go to the beach, play tennis, and dance.
When it comes to SOCIAL MEDIA, I’m a big believer in learning from my peers.
I also recognize industry leaders like Brian Solis, Chris Brogan, Sarah Evans, and Beth Kanter are exceptional role models to learn from.
What better way to keep up with everyone than through social media!?
I Like Chris Brogan’s Attitude Towards SOCIAL MEDIA.
Social media is all about building relationships, branding, and strong communication.
And I agree with Sarah Evan’s approach to integrating SOCIAL MEDIA.
Identify your goals and structure, integrate into an existing business plan, develop a policy, and examine your workflow and adapt as
necessary.
Enough about me.
How can I help the team at Nadel Phelan?
I absolutely can’t wait to find out.
