We hope you will feel inspired to visit us at our newly opened office in Santa Ponsa where busi¬ness is already brisk as the new season gets underway.I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped and supported me since moving to the island in 2003 and who have continually supported me during the creation and establishing of TAYLOR DESIGN STUDIO. This has since become a major player in the interior design market here in Mallorca and has successfully completed several sizeable and exclusive interior projects in the South West.

It was my dearest friend Eva Zajicova who played a key role in my decision to enter the very competitive real estate market. Eva has a flair for acquiring exclusive properties and she never ceases to amaze me with her incredible professionalism and the enormous effort she puts into making every new client feel special, all of whom are treated with the utmost res¬pect. We take time to listen carefully to your specific needs, requirements and desires for your dream home and we do our upmost to acquire your dream home quickly so as to avoid numerous and more importantly, pointless viewings in properties that don’t measure up to your expectation and thereby wasting your precious time. Nicole Manzke and Sheena Gordon have also joined me in this venture and I am a very grateful for the contribution they are making and for their years of experience within the Mallorcan property market.

Yvette Taylor, Managing Director

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Yvette achieved her first degree in fashion design at the Fashion and Textile University of Prague, in the Czech Republic, followed by a Bachelor degree in fine art and interior design at the UCLA in Los Angeles and a master degree in Business Administration at the State University New York. Additionally Yvette graduated as a real estate consultant from the Academy of Advanced Studies in Palma de Mallorca. Yvette has been living in Mallorca since 2003.

Skills: Management and guidan-ce of the team, strong decision maker, finance control, marketing support.

Working experience: Executive Project Manager for SKANSKA from 1995 to 2001. In 2003 she founded TAYLOR DESIGN STU-DIO, followed by TAYLOR REAL ESTATE in 2009 and SERENITY LIVING in 2010.

Eva Zajicova, Sales Manager

Born in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, Eva achieved her degree in German and French literature and diplomacy at the University of Brno (Czech Republic) and Univ. of Dijon (France). Addition-ally Eva graduated as a real estate consultant from the Academy of Advanced Studies in Palma de Mallorca.

Eva has been living in Mallorca since 2003.

Skills: Acquisition of carefully selected high-value properties, individual attention to vendors and purchasers in their native language, integrated real estate consulting services.

Working experience: Eva has worked as a real estate consultant in Mallorca for 7 years.

Born in Hagen, Germany, Nicole achieved her degree in English and Spanish literature and linguistics at the Ruhr-Universtät Bochum in Germany.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Sheena achieved her degree in Business Management and Accountancy and later studied Site & Project Management at Glasgow University.

Sheena has lived in Mallorca since 2000

Skills: Consulting and communi-cating with clients determining their specific criteria and seeking to fulfil those requirements. With an excellent knowledge of the Southwest area and close contact with the British Community, has established an extensive contact portfolio. Sheena also has exten-sive negotiation and mediation skills within the Property Industry.

Working experience: Having been involved in the Property Industry since leaving University, working with the largest Architects & Surveyors Practice in Glasgow and since moving to Mallorca working only with the best Real Estate Agencies.

Taylor design studio is an established interior design company concentrating on residential projects such as private villas, fincas and luxury

apartments, supplying original ideas tailored to the client’s desires. The service is turn-key.

We co-operate with our clients from the beginning and we take care of all their needs related to their home furnishing or complete refurbishing,

starting with 2-D or 3-D plans of the projects. Then we select all items according to the client’s wishes, and adding our professional expertise.

Furnishing this marvellous villa on the westernslope of Camp de Mar bay was a challenging project for the Taylor

design studio professionals.Yvette Taylor Senior Designer of the company says:

“When we received the project thehouse was already finished, including fitting of the

bathrooms, kitchen and built-in wardrobes.We could see the amazing potential of the house with its large

open and connected area on the ground floor.” Fortunately, the design team

were able to build up a very good relationship with the Danishclient, who is based in Florida, USA.

Taylor Design was given the opportunity to completely re-definethe existing colour scheme and material concept,

replacing it with light, modern aspects. The original kitchen wasreplaced by a SCAVOLINI kitchen with white glossy

lacquer satin glass and white SILESTONEfor the counters.

The Mallorcan-style doors were exchanged withGerman HGM designer doors in wenge; window frames and roof

beams were repainted to match them.

The chimney room is now furnished with large brown leatherFENDI sofa, a SMANIA coffee table and TV cabinet,

accompanied by SMANIA lamps and a large SIRECOM rug,custom-designed by Taylor Design Studio.

For the garden furniture we selected the EDENcollection by SMANIA.

The furnishings of this two-bedroom penthouse gaveus the unique opportunity to create the

contrast of a modern design in a historical setting.

We decided to use bright coloursto compensate for the lack of natural light.

To visually increase the living space, we supplied slidingglass doors and floor-to-ceiling mirrors.

Both bedrooms were dressed with exquisite fabrics byCHIVASSO and Gaston y Daniela, accompanied by wardrobes

in fashionable glossy white lacquer by SIMFORM.

The minimalist kitchen by Siematic was combined witha modern glass dining table and chairs by TONON,

plus FLOS lighting.The best feature is the two amazing roof terraces

overlooking Palma.

We have transformed them into the main living area forsummer, creating a large sitting/lounge

area upholstered in colourful fabrics with custom-madecushions for outdoor use.

The modern garden furniture wasdesigned by KETTAL.

A highly challenging project for the Taylor design studio team,who normally concentrate on interior design.

Shortly after taking on the project, the designers discovered thatthe technical condition of the house was poor

and needed immediate repairs.We had to completely rewire the whole house, installing new

central fuse boxes, new plugs and switches.The leaking pool as well as the terraces had to be retiled.

The major problem was poor insulation, whichcaused dampness in many areas.

A special insulation material had to be injected into thewalls which were then re-plastered.

After finalising the complete refurbishment, we concentrated onthe decorative part of the job.

The original kitchen was replaced by a minimalist-style kitchenfrom Italian supplier ARMONY with MIELE appliances.

SILESTONE in light ivory colour was used for the worktop.

The large living area was furnished with a massiveVER DESIGN corner sofa, upholstered with soft light cream fabric,

accompanied by GALLOTI & RADICE square glasscoffee table and a natural reed rug by LIMITED EDITION

with leather border.The furniture in natural walnut veneer was supplied

by VER DESIGN. The cosy atmosphere wasachieved by using large floor

lamps by Italian lighting specialist MODO.

The complete refurbishment took eight months, with two months’break in between to allow the owner of the

property to use the house for his summer holiday.

This stunning property was designed for a youngBelgian family with a 10-year-old son.

The modern style with contemporary aspects aims at keepingthe main living area bright and spacious.

The state-of-the-art kitchen by Italian brand SCAVOLINIwas combined with wenge and ivory units

and a SILESTONE worktop.The comfortable dining table and chairs by TONON

is the centrepiece with an eye-catching chandelier by DE MAJO.

The main living area casts superb views from the leather sofasand cosy armchairs by VER DESIGN; the wallpapers

and curtains by Jane Churchill have charm and warmth.

The inviting master bedroom in neutral tones and a touch of silveris dominated by a large patterned wallpaper by

LA MAISSON and a bed with leather headboard by SIMFORM,who have also fitted the wardrobes into each of

the three bedrooms to meet the clients’ specific needs.

The son’s separate apartment consists of a small Scavolinikitchen, a designer table with vibrant red chairs by Softline

and a sofa bed by Verdesign.
