• Incidentally the assignment was in the Last week of month. So…..

• The consumers were less

• InsightsIt will be wrong to introduce New product in Last

week of a month

Stores can take up Maintenance work during this period and be prepared for Rush hours in next week.

Observations

• All big stores were having

– Attractive sign boards and decorations

– Ample of parking space

– Courteous security

– Salespersons were young boys and girls, wearing uniform.

• All these influence positively.

Indulgence

• At one of the stores Way to rest rooms was lined by paintings drawn by children.

• Watching them while passing cools down emotions, people start dwelling in their own childhood.

And in childhood we want everything we see around us.

Location

• As compared to other shops, Butchers shop was located in Dirty surroundings, No Air-conditioning etc.

• But the shopkeeper was making greetings as soon as a customer arrives, he was having personalized conversations with them.

• Shop was full and people were readily waiting outside.

Location doesn't make much difference, Quality of service matters
