UOMOIl progetto Lago si muove cercando di nondimenticare mai l’uomo. Per questo abbiamoprogettato una fabbrica come se fosse la nostracasa. Perché l’uomo che crea è l’uomo che usa.

LAGOFABBRICA
Non è una fabbrica: è un gesto sociale.Non è un capannone: è un nuovoapproccio mentale. Non è un miraggio: èun’oasi tra scatole di cemento. Dalprogetto dell’architetto Italo Chiucchininasce "LAGOFABBRICA", la non-fabbricache produce, in quanto concepita secondoi principali criteri di bioedilizia domestica.
Qui materie nobili
inusuali per le industrie si incontrano:sistemi architettonici a misura d'uomocreano sequenze armoniche di faldeinclinate, travi in legno, mattoni e vetro,cotto, acciaio e alluminio. Qui dentro efuori vivono in simbiosi, uniti dallatrasparenza che accoglie la luce naturale ei suoi effetti benefici su corpo e psiche.Qui le polveri
vengono trattenute dal sistema diclimatizzazione con riscaldamento radiantea pavimento, permettendo agli occhi diammirare il cielo dal soffitto e daifinestroni affacciati sulla campagna. Qui lapasserella sospesa buca il soffitto con travidi legno lamellare, donando nuovi punti divista sullo show-room. E' nato un nuovouniverso. Al suo centro non solo quello che
si fa, ma chi lo fa: l'uomo.

From the project ofarchitect Italo Chiucchini comes"LAGOFABBRICA", the non-factory thatproduces, conceived based on theprincipal “green architecture” criteria.Here precious materials meet that areusually not found in industrialbuildings: architecturalsystems on a human
scale create harmonic sequences ofinclined pitches, wooden beams, bricksand glass, terracotta, steel and aluminium.Here they exist in mutualism inside andout, united by the transparency thatgathers the natural light and its beneficialeffects on the body and mind. Here the
dust is retained by
air conditioning systems with radiantunder floor heating, allowing the eyes toadmire the sky through the ceilings andwindows overlooking the countryside.Here the suspended gangway penetratesthe ceiling with laminated wooden beams,giving a new perspective to the showroom.A universe is born. Not just what is done atthe centre, but who does it: man.
To promote the reuse of the cardboard,the packaging of Lago products isgraphically refined by artists and renewedevery 2 years. Simple and ordinary boxesthereby carry a collectable message,indistinctly entrusted to the fantasy ofchildren as well as to the perception ofwell-known artists. From this same fantasy comes the“Ricciolo” stool, the “Object de luxe”collection and a guide with many otherappealing objects that can be cut out fromthe cardboard.

Ogni anno artisti diversi sono chiamati areinterpretare LagoCalendario, unprogetto nato per donare un aspettosempre nuovo e allo stesso tempo renderefunzionale LagoBox, il contenitore di tutto ilmateriale aziendale destinato ad ognirivenditore. LagoCalendario 2006 è statopensato e realizzato da Mela Boev.
Mela Boev è artista edesigner. Quando non passa iltempo a investigare gli infinitimondi possibili, torna tra noiper fare cose intreressanti.
Mela Boev is an artist anddesigner, and when notpassing her time investigatingboundless worlds, returns tocreate wondrous creations.
Every year different artists are invited toreinterpret the LagoCalendario, a projectcreated to give a renewed look and at thesame time make the LagoBox functional, thecontainer of all company material destinedto each retailer. LagoCalendario 2006 wasdesigned and created by Mela Boev.

On the occasion of the 51st VeniceBiennale exhibition, Lago collaboratedwith Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistolettotending to the fitting of the ProductionOffice – Bookshop and with a specialedition of the famous Ricciolo stool, whichbecame the “stool of survival” for theoccasion.

Lo spazio ha una richiesta: chiede più valore. Vuole unasottolineatura, una sorta di cornice per ricordare cheanche il vuoto è materia. Il concetto è democratico. Perrispettarlo serve un elemento unico e neutro, in grado diadattarsi a qualsiasi stile di vita. La risposta è neinumeri. La soluzione è un modulo da 36,8 per 36,8centimetri. Eccolo: si ferma, si muove, esplode eimplode, si divide e si moltiplica. Dona allo spazio formae sostanza creando segmenti, di differente lunghezza, daaccostare gli uni agli altri. E' minimalista: puntaall'essenza sfuggendo alle definizioni. E’ funzionale: creainnumerevoli opportunità di contenimento. E’trasformista: sa essere una spirale in zona giorno, unacreazione classica in zona notte, può mimetizzarsi apiacere. E’ una griglia da comporre a piacimento. Uncruciverba che si espande in verticale e orizzontale. Unpout-pourrì di finiture e colori da scegliere e combinare.Si chiama 36e8. Ha tutti i numeri per rappresentare il tuomondo.
Space has a need: it needs more value. It needsunderlining, a type of frame to remember that evenemptiness is matter. The concept is democratic. To respectit a unique and neutral element is needed, capable ofadapting to any life style. The answer is in numbers. Thesolution is a 36.8 by 36.8 centimetre module. An here it is:it stands still, it moves, it explodes and implodes, it dividesand it multiplies. It gives shape and substance to a spacecreating segments, differing in length, to be placed oneagainst the other. It is minimalist: it aims at the essenceand shying to definition. It is functional: it createsnumerous containment opportunities. It's a transformist: itcan be a spiral in the living room and a classic creation inthe bedroom, it can merge into anything. It is a grid thatcan be assembled at will. A vertically and horizontallyexpanding crossword. A potpourri of finishes and coloursto choose and change. It’s called 36e8. It has all the rightnumbers to distinguish your world.

Ein Kreuzworträtsel, das sichsenkrecht und waagrecht erstreckt. Ein Potpourri anvorhandenen und kombinierbaren Ausführungen undFarben. Es heißt 36e8. Es sind die richtigen Nummern,um deine Welt zu verkörpern.
