Recession
One thing that many smallbusinesses do not consider is howthey will handle their customerswhen the country comes out of arecession.
When the country's recession beginsto end, you are going to have todeal with two different types ofcustomers.
Instead of just dealing with frugalcustomers, you are going to haveto appeal to a new type as well.
The first type of customer will bethose who are too afraid to spendtheir money.
You may want to consider thesepeople shell-shocked from therecession. These people will not bevery willing to part with theirmoney, even when the economypicks up.
The second type of customer is theone who is spending their moneyout of excitement for thequickening economy.
These people will be willing tospend, but what you will have toremember is that you will have tocompete with all of the otherbusinesses looking to succeedduring this uncertain time of thecountry.
In order to reach these customers, you will need to offer them
something more than just products and services.
You will need to offer them an experience that they will not
forget.
When the country begins to dig itselfout of a recession, the economybecomes somewhat rocky.
Many people approach this with acontinued conservatism, while othersquickly raise their spending habits, youwill have to plan for both types ofcustomers in order to succeed.
