For small coffee shop owners holidays are either somethingto look forward to or cringe over. We took a look at over10,000 coffee shop visits and found these holiday trends.
HOLIDAYS AND EVENTS IN COFFEE SHOPS
Gazella took a dive into the number of visits to coffee shops and cafesduring times of holidays and large events. We found that holidays had someof the largest effects on the number of people visiting a coffee shop. Thedata set sampled represented coffee shops that were closed onThanksgiving, therefore showing the least number of visits for a holiday. While holidays such as Columbus day showed an increase in number ofvisits. Veterans Day, Halloween, and even the 2016 election highlighted thepeaks and valleys of coffee shop visits.
