Today’s Situation Students are often bogged down with

excessive amounts of work, contributing to stress-related injuries and weight gain

Some have even alleged that the health care system is behind the massive amounts of assigned homework, as a means of acquiring more patients

How Did We Get Here? Long ago, students often couldn’t

spend much time in class because they had to work in the fields, so the teachers assigned as homework the lessons they couldn’t get to in class

This is no longer the case now, with classes often lasting as long as 3 and 4 hours.

Available Options We believe that if teachers cannot get

through their lessons in the classroom, they should revise their lesson plans

Advantages for the student: less stress, more time for work and play.

Advantages for the teacher: less grading Disadvantages: hospitals might lose $

Recommendation Call a meeting of the Department of

Education If things go as planned, we can look

forward to fewer health problems and happier students
