• Paint fumes have a rather unpleasant odor and
can be strong enough to keep you out of that
beautiful, newly-painted room for a few days.
• However, many easy methods can help reduce
those fumes and get them out of the house
more quickly, allowing you to enjoy your “new”
rooms.
• Opening windows obviously helps disperse the
fumes.
• Putting a pot of water in the room can help
absorb fumes. Some suggest adding lemon to
the water to freshen the scent.
• Using other methods of odor removal, like
candles, essential oils, or charcoal, can also work
well.

painted home in no time without
worrying about those fumes.
