HI EVERYONE!

We are Mantica, a small software house located in Bologna and working in IT for fashion since 2009.

We grew up near the most important  italian fast fashion hub (Centergross of Bologna), developing websites and other “rich web applications” on demand  for the companies of this area.

After three years, we decided to create an e-commerce suite for fashion medium companies, not only in the fast fashion sector: we called it “Fashion Desk”.

FROM B2B TO CHATBOTS

At first we developed a B2B e-commerce platform for buyers, distributors and agents, very quick and easy to use.

In 2015 we added to Fashion Desk the B2C e-commerce module.

In 2016 we thought that conversational-commerce should be the right way for next future: that’s why we integrated in the suite a ChatBot solution for Facebook Messenger.

WHY A COMPANY SHOULD CHOOSEFASHION DESK?

The first reason is the advantage to control the business online from the same area, not only orders from B2B and B2C websites or photos uploading. Fashion Desk allows to manage data just once for both e-commerce websites and – now - chatbots. It’s also possible to talk easily to the most common ERP systems.

The second reason is that Mantica is careful about fashion companies business needs. That’s why we decided to develop a Business ChatBot solution: to save their time. Fashion Desk gives to companies a new efficient channel to talk with their customers, gather data and work better.

B2B and B2C e-commerce should be able to communicate with users who exchange messages, acting as a database of content for bots and they became the last call-to-action for online purchases.

This is the “closing of circle” for Mantica.

WHY A COMPANY SHOULD ACTIVATEA CHATBOT WITH FASHION DESK?

Chat will become increasingly important for business users, avoiding the use of apps and different sites to perform similar services. People don’t use more than four apps, each for one or two services. In 2016  app downloading declined by almost 20% (*).

Customers can open Facebook Messenger chat and start interacting with the ChatBot, just as if it were a human. Through the ChatBot they can research products, ask questions, browse the catalog or get sales data as if it is an agent. A Facebook profile is what they need to perform all these operations.

TALK WITH YOUR FAVOURITE ASSISTANT

The keyword for Fashion Desk ChatBot solution is semantic.

Respecting a logical structure inside ChatBot workflow we worked to make them less "deaf" and "dumb" as possible. The margin of error will be minimized because the key is to have a short and clear help online.

The control of semantic synonyms should be managed by customers by a dedicated area inside Fashion Desk CMS.

WILL IT LAST?

Facebook Messenger is used by more than 900 millions of users worldwide, and from Facebook headquarter  new important features are added periodically to the platform.

At the beginning of september 2016 they added the navigation of mobile websites inside the platform and – most important –the payment module. Nowadays this feature is only for USA developers, but it will be possible to buy online worldwide very soon without leaving  ChatBot interface.

Here is the conversational commerce!
