REASONS WHY THIS HAS RAISED

• One of the main catalyst who are responsible for the impacts of new technology with in the film industry is due to technical media convergence. Technical convergence is the idea of different media technologies being combined into one product. For example in this day and age mobile phone consists of radios, cameras, mp3 players, cam recorders and many more features. This has resulted into film productions being way more accessible to conduct for the public and individuals who don’t have the cash to by expensive equipment to recorder some footage.

IN WHAT WAYS DID WE USE AND HOW DID THEY HELP US IN THE PRODUCTION OF FILM

• Video Camera – the HD Video camera was one of the main crucial pieces of technology/equipment that we used in order to produce the film. The HD Video camera was the main device were all the footage from the video was filmed

• Photoshop – the image manipulating software ‘Photoshop’ was the main software were I designed most of the images I had to produce for my review and poster. This enable me to take pictures and manipulate them in what ever way I wanted.

• Camera – the HD Cameras I used was also another important piece of technology that I had used to produce my poster and review. Reason being because without the HD Camera I wouldn’t have any pictures of the main characters or location in my poster or review which I implemented.

• InDesign – this was the main software I used to produce the review of my media product. InDesign is a software which provides the tools for individuals of any experience to design reviews, posters, flyers etc.

• Computer – A desktop computer was also one of the main contributors for the result of broken trust for the main simple fact that without the computer it would have made it very hard nearly impossible for me to communicate with my blog by updating it regularly. A desktop computer was also used in the film as prop at the beginning of the film when the main character Jennifer is being bullied. Furthermore the desktop computer also allowed me to carryout the majority of my research due to it containing internet app behind most of the features I produced for my film such as the main three being Posters, Short Film and reviews.

• Final Cut Pro- this was the editing software used to put together the footage we had filmed in the camera.

• Mobile Phone- my mobile phone played an important part in the production of this project due it enabling me to catch images of us in the process of conducting the film and posters.

• WordPress – was another internet app which was the main software technologies in the production of my film hence this was the main place were I updated on how I was producing this project. WordPress is a website which allows people to blog and share their artworks.

PROBLEMS WE FACE WHEN PRODUCING THIS PROJECT

• One of the main problems I was faced with was getting with grips of knowing how to use the software used to create the poster on Photoshop and review on InDesign.• Another problem raised in the production for me

was the time keeping of producing the film. The production of this film required me (director) organising the times to meet up to film the film. This was difficult as some people were available when some people weren't which resulted into us leaving things late and then RUSHING!

WEB 2.0

• The web 2.0 theory suggest that media audiences and consumers don’t just purchase and consume media content anymore, we now also create and design our own media content for the near enough same enjoyment and pleasure. Furthermore when this is usually done it is often explored on the internet which is another way of people exemplifying their talent and creativity on the internet.

• This highly related and corresponded in the ways in which I produce my media content. For the simple reason that I produce my media content by myself for my enjoyment and interest and shared it on the interente similar to what the theory suggest
