Presentation given by Center for Development Education (www.cdeindia.in) at CSR Pune and Net Impact networking event (2011) to enable CSR leaders and professionals to learn, network and contribute to social organization. Centre for Development Education – CDE works with schools, colleges and the community on projects related to Climate Change, Sustainable Development, Child Rights and other global and local issues. CDE based in Pune, India deals with development education in both formal and non-formal set up and the community. We undertake projects from NGOs (Indian and International) and corporates - that deal with global issues in the classroom - educating children, empowering teachers and mobilising the community.

4. International Climate Challenge (ICC) Project 2008-2011 Is
focused on youth carrying out ACTION projects in climate change,
reporting, narrating and sharing their experiences with youth in
Kenya and UK to understand various perspectives and find local
relevant solutions to climate change. ICC Partners Target Audience
Youth aged from 14 20 years (30,000 approx) from 30 schools &
colleges in the city of Mumbai & Pune, India. Understanding

6. Gardens for Life (GFL) Project 2004-2008 The GFL projects is
focused on growing food in schools, relating to curriculum and
local food issues, exchanging (teacher, letters, photos, info etc)
with global counterparts and understanding global food issues. GFL
