One of our Success Stories
Nursery business based on sugarcane seedlings helps
farmers and industry.
About 50 nurseries operating in Maharashtra alone.
Technology also being used in Terai region of Nepal.
A family having 2000 sq m land and a small well can have
annual turnover of Rs.15 lac, providing planting material to
100 ha.
Farmers using seedlings as planting material obtain about
20% additional yield compared to the traditional method of
planting.
Increased availability of cane to the industry.
