#1 Identify the dream
Talent (and talented candidates) are rarely looking for new jobs. Dreams
however, everybody has dreams. Identify and understand your candidates’ dreams and you will work with the best talent in
the market.
#2 Make adequate commitments
Ensure that you deliver on all commitments and promises you made to
candidates.
#3 Keep an elite interest
When asking for referrals do not ask for candidates who are available. Instead,
ask: 'who is the best engineer/developer you know‘? That is how you build up a
solid elite talent pool.
#4 Be accountable
If you follow through on your commitments with your current
candidates your reputation will acquire talent in the future all by itself.
