So what is a car wrap or a vehicle wrap, anyway?

It's basically a giant, high quality sticker that we print in
sheets, and literally shrink wrap it to your car.
Sounds interesting, but will the vehicle wrap affect or damage
the paint job?
No at all, the car wrapping vinyl will actually protect the
paint that it's covering. Professional removal is also
recommended.
Okay, so my paint will be fine, but how long will the wrap
last?
That depends on the quality of the material and the car wrap
installation. We only use premium wrap material, so under normal
circumstances the wrap will last 3-5 years. Remember that a
professional installation is also key.
Do I need to wrap the entire vehicle if I just want some text or
a few graphics?
No, partial vehicle wraps are also highly effective. In the case
of the partial wrap, the color of the car is taken into account
when the wrap is designed.
We create all kinds of partials: Tailgates, front end only, back
end only, just the rear quarter panels...
If my vehicle is in an accident, can the wrap be repaired?
We hope that doesn't happen! But, yes. We can re-print the
necessary sections of the wrap that need repair. Often insurance
will cover the cost as well.
How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?
A full wrap will take 1-2 days depending on the size of the
vehicle being wrapped.
Will I need to have commercial insurance if my vehicle is
wrapped?
That varies state to state. The best thing to do is check with
your state and insurance professional.
What if I don't know what I want for a vehicle wrap design?
At Sunrise, we have an in-house vehicle wrap design staff for
just those conundrums. If you are working with a company that
offers a designer, make sure he or she has experience with vehicle
wrap design.
