wiser to get a new car because it is less expensive and more convenient. But if you’re going to purchase a new

vehicle, you should avoid the following new models, according to

car experts.

Smart ForTwo

While the ForTwo is reasonably affordable and easy to park, this

micro car gets low marks from auto experts. For starters, its constant need for premium-grade petrol

negates its fuel efficiency. 

Scion iQ

Micro cars are gaining popularity these days. If you’re going to buy one, however, be sure to avoid the iQ. Like Smart’s ForTwo, it has received very low marks from Consumer Report.

Not only does it have a very small cabin, it is also not the best choice if

you’re looking for a compact car with good acceleration and engine power.

Nissan Titan

Highly outclassed by similar full-size pickup trucks from Chevrolet, Ford,

and Toyota, the Nissan Titan get poor ratings on the residual value from ALG and on performance from JD

Power.

Nissan Armada

Based on the Titan’s design, the Nissan Armada SUV is roomy and capable of towing a decent-sized

boat. However, car servicing 

experts don’t recommend it because it is heavy and hard to maneuver. In

addition, it received poor marks on fuel economy and reliability.

Mitsubishi Mirage

Although the Mirage received rave reviews from many car enthusiasts for

its affordability and other cool features, Mitsubishi’s entry to 

Dodge Journey

Dodge’s Journey, a seven-passenger crossover SUV, failed to impress car experts. Its outdated design and 2.4 liter 173 horsepower four-cylinder

engine is amongst

the factors that contribute to the SUV’s low score. Aside from receiving poor reliability and performance ratings

from J.D. Power, the Journey also got below-average resale value rating

from ALG.

If you’re going to buy a new car, make sure that you’ve done your homework well. Check consumer

reports and expert reviews to know which of the newest models are not prone to frequent car repairs and can give you great value for your

money.
