Welcome to T4, Week 3

e-Learners Team at Putauaki

Weeks 3-4: We are learning to track changes in the natural and man- made environments of our Kawerau community Pre-production: o In groups, identify and research 1-4 historical photographs. o If you can, make photocopies or scan the photographs so that you can

refer to then when creating your new images. o Visit these locations to see if they are preserved enough to recognise in a

re-creation photograph. o If necessary, ask for permission to photograph these locations. o Practice framing the photo with a number of test shots. o Determine the approximate day and time the photographs were taken. Production: o Scan or photograph the original photos so that you can present them

alongside your new photo and information. Post-production: o Include written information about the historical places. o Whaea Jeanette will upload your information to www.onedayonearth.org o Visit others who have completed the historical photographs project.

Compare and contrast how their historical places relate to yours.
