Statement of Intent I want to achieve some natural shots of my model shopping and browsing around in this vintage shop. I will want to get a theme running through my photographs, as she will be roaming around the shop freely which would get the most natural effect.

I want to show my audience how fun vintage shopping can be, and that it is one big experience that everyone should experience in their lives as it could be life changing. I will make this activity look appealing to my audience by giving the audience some insight into how different and fun vintage shopping is compared to high street shopping. I will include many types of shots and capture many diverse angles in order to get a range of shots to use to my advantage and create for my magazine.

Planning for the photoshoot:I will ask my model to dress in her usual unique style as she wears vintage items which will work well as she will look like she belongs in this type of shop. This will give successful outcomes for my images as she will look naturally placed in this location.

I will plan my route to the shop and location, and also what time I will be planning to visit. I will also consider what items I will be bringing and what sort of equipment I will need to take in order for me to get the most successful images possible.

TravelI will be travelling to Brighton from Bedford by train, and visit a number of different vintage shops in order to find one that will be suitable enough to take photographs in, and get a successful shoot done. It will take me around 2 hours and 45 minutes in order to travel down to Brighton from Bedford. I will be planning to catch the 9:24 train from Bedford to arrive in Brighton at around 11:00ish

I will spend the afternoon in Brighton, searching for unique locations. I will use this vintage shop shoot separate from my other ‘out and about’ Brighton shoot. This will give me a lot of material which I could possibly include for my magazine or website.

What health and safety issues could crop up on this shoot?

-In case of a fire - be aware of where the fire exits are in the building, keep belongings with you at all times

-Not feeling well etc, take time out and fresh air, step out of the shop for a while

-Losing belongings, keep them with you all the time, do not leave them in the shop somewhere

-Be respectful of other customers and staff - make sure we do not disrupt or upset anyone whilst doing the photoshoot
