In your groups analyse how the producers of the following games have constructed their products in terms of: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXJUST DANCEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Genre – Just dance falls into the genre of fitness/sport and family. Despite the obvious statement and information Ubisoft has given us on the game, we can see the game fits this genre by analysing it’s gameplay and the cover on the game. The cover is bright and colourful with 3 characters who have energetic poses. This suggests unity and that the game is for more than one person. It’s quite eye catching with all the bright vivid colors and the music. The cover of the game itself presents this quite well. The game does well at delivering the content that the developers intended on because clearly the gameplay and the looks of it are very hyper and bright to any one who plays or analyses it. Construction – Construction of such a game is key because there are people who want to play it in groups and play it together and it is vital for everyone to understand what the game wants them to do next. It does so by creating a shallow, clear and large interface. The writing is bold and clear in bright colors and the instructions are very linear. This helps the game let all players understand what certain features mean and how to interact with the game properly to be able to enjoy it.

Narrative conventions – In a game like Just Dance, you wouldn’t expect a storyline. However this does not mean there aren’t any expectations at all because Just Dance has massive expectations both gameplay wise and new content wise.
