Con Dao islands are a group of 16 islands. The largest island is known as Con Son.

Con Son Island (with a total land area of 20 sq km) is also known by its Europeanised Malay name, Ile Poulo Condore (Pulau Kun-dur), which means ‘Island of the Squashes’

Although it seems something of an island paradise, Con Son was once hell on earth for the thousands of prisoners who languished in confinement during the French- and American-backed regimes

Direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Hanoi (HAN) and Can Tho (VCA) are operated by Vietnam Airlines (VASCO). Ho Chi Minh City is the nearest international airport and connects to a 45-minute flight to Con Dao. These domestic flights can be booked and arranged by the property, if requested.
