The technique of his painting is often compared with significant painters as Richard Smith, Karplan and Garmash. He returned to his homeland after 12 years, despite several proposals from foreign universities and art centers. His style is a combination of Realism and Impressionism. As one of the founders and pioneers of this style in Iran, he has introduced numerous students to Iran's and the world's art society. His works have been featured in several group and individual exhibition, some of which are as follows : Museum of Contemporary Arts (1986) ; Exhibition of Young Painters /Iran-Italy Association/ (1987); attending in 1993, 1995 and 1997 Biennials; Masters' Exhibition (Museum of Contemporary Arts); the inauguration of Kamal-ol Molk and Nahavand Galleries; holding exhibitions in UK of Emirates(1998, 2000 and 2005) and several individual and group exhibitions in Germany, France , Hungary, etc.

Rahim Navessi is one of the great Persian painters. Born in Khoy in 1951, Navessi was first recognized as a painter in 1968. He studied under Kazarian and in 1972 attended the Vienna School of Fine Arts, from which he graduated at the top of his class. His works have been featured at international exhibitions throughout Europe.
