Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program-

Program Outreach

Aims & Objectives: To address poverty & unemployment through HRD in Sindh.

Targets [Phase-III]: To provide skill development

opportunities/trainings to 50,000 thousands unemployed semiliterate or educated youth (18-35 year).

To facilitate for jobs, self-employment or business (through “Micro Financing”).

Initially an allocation of Rs.2.5 Billion by GoS in FY 2009-2010 and then in FY 2010-11.

Incentives for TraineesMonthly Stipend & dislocation allowance (Rs.2,500 & 2-3 thousands on actual basis).

Guidelines-IV of BBSYDP: An approved & authentic fundamental official document that provides macro & micro level systematic frame work for BBSYDP

Achievements: Around 83,000 youth of Sindh have undergone the trainings of BBSYDP

to support Rural Empowerment, BBSYDP had organized a Job Fair for Graduates of Phase-I, in collaboration with International Labor Organization (ILO), on 16th February,2010.

Sindh Youth Employment Services

A web portal as first electronic employment in the public sector has been developed to attend Matching the skill of each graduate youth with employment.

Provide guidance and career counselling to youth, at pre and post trainings.

Easy and effective access to Employers to identify suitable employee for selection and recruitment.

Free employment exchange for employer and job seeker.
