Vodcasts are video files that can be downloaded from the Internet to a users computer for use at any time.

Vodcasts are created in various formats including avi, mov, wmv.

start up the recording software (e.g. Audacity) record your planned cast save the recording and edit the file into a polished cast create a space to host your casts with an explanation of

the purpose and basic instructions on how to download them

once the file is presentable and the hosting space is ready, upload your cast and start promoting your new program!

More universities and organisations are now pod and vodcasting daily.

Podcasting resources are readily available via many different websites eg. Itunes
