JELLYFISH

The jellyfish are invertebrate animals. Their shape is like a bell or umbrella.

They have a lot of tentacles. The 95% of the body of a jellyfish is made of water.

They live in all the oceans of the planet. Some live in fresh water.

They live far from the coast, but they can go to the coast in the spring and summer.

The jellyfish are carnivores; they eat small crustaceans and small fishes.

They catch crustaceans with their tentacles; they inject their poison and the crustacean die. The tentacles put the crustaceans in

their mouth.

They use tentacles to swim. They haven’t got brain but they have nervous

system.

The tentacles have poison. When the tentacles touch your body they produce pain and reactions, then you can clean the body with the water of the

sea.
