Info on RTP Billing Info on RTP Billing

Billing of Interval related data i.e. profiles

Based on rate models that evaluate energy requirements

over a period of time.

Consumption is measured for each interval for each

rate period.

The interval of measurement can be 5,10,15,30,60,day.The interval of measurement can be 5,10,15,30,60,day.

Can be used to calculate Time of use pricing models and

RTP models.

Prices can be defined in advance or adjusted for spot

pricing defined by the energy market.

FormulasFormulas

Formulas define the calculations that take place when

an RTP interface is executed. Formula is allocated to an

RTP interface. On choosing a formula, we need to define

the input parameters to be supplied to the RTP interface

as well as the output parameters available.

The formula is only carried out once. The formula is only carried out once.

We can define our own formulas.

Eg : MULTI01,LIMIT01

RTP ComponentRTP Component

They define the structure of parameter allocations

in the RTP interface linking input, output and

result parameters.

One may require various RTP components because

we usually need different periods (such as summer and

winter) for parameter allocations. One can allocate variouswinter) for parameter allocations. One can allocate various

time groups, such as season groups, day groups and

time-of-use groups within an RTP component.

RTP Component must be generated before it can be

used in an RTP interface.

RTP Interface IRTP Interface I

The RTP interface enables one to use the profiles

maintained in the IS-U-EDM in billing.

To do this, we allocate the RTP interface to the rate

used for billing an interval meter.

In the RTP interface we can execute billing-relevant

processing steps carried out based on profiles.processing steps carried out based on profiles.

Result parameters describe the results of RTP interface

execution. Result parameter values are defined via

result functions.

One can allocate result parameters to output parameters

according to the structure defined for the RTP component

RTP Interface IIRTP Interface II

When the RTP interface is executed, a profile is created for

every result parameter at runtime.

This means that the profile values of an output parameter

can be transferred to several result parameters.

Conversely, a result parameter can be supplied by several

output parameters.

The result function allocated to the result parameter is

then executed on the profile values transferred to the

result parameter.

One can allocate different result parameters to one output

parameter in different RTP components. These profiles are

then used according to the priority defined for the RTP

component and its corresponding activation periods.
