Approach / Timescales for LEA

• Project Definition (Jan - April)– Vision, team mobilisation, planning

• LEA Document Preparation (March – October)– Draft report, commission evidence, refine report, prepare

draft LEA, consult• Finalise Draft LEA (September – December)

– Revise draft LEA, partner endorsement• Publish LEA (December – March)

– Finalise LEA, publish LEA• Review Monitor (April onwards)

– Frequent refresh, feed in to corporate and other strategies

Where we’re up to

• Create Steering Group and meet regularly: Ongoing• Draft LEA contents and evidence catalogue: completed• Preparation of directory of strategies with interest in LEA: completed• Core indicators: common set identified• FEMA work: completed (to be launched in June 2010)• Time / cost accounting: in progress• Risk assessment: completed in draft – steering group to review• Engagement with stakeholders:

– Finalise stakeholder list:18/06/10– Summary of progress and importance of LEA: 25/06/10– Invitation to stakeholder event: 25/06/10
